On The Sets: Alibaba Okkade Donga

Aali-Suja Varuni starrer ‘Alibaba Okkade Donga’ is currently being shot at Saradhi Studio in Hyderabad. Phani Prakash is directing the film and Boddeda Shivaji is producing it on Kamal Cine Creations banner. A press meet was organised at the shooting location to brief the film’s progress.

Aali said, “Several films in the name of Alibaba have come in the past. But our film’s title ‘Alibaba Okkade Donga’ has been aptly chosen as per the story. Director Phani earlier did ‘Sudaraniki Thondarekkuva’ and even worked as a writer for earlier films. I agreed to do this film since I liked the script a lot. As promised he completed the talkie part in 20 days. All four songs are good. First song on Vinayaka is being shot at Saradhi Studios for the past 3 days. Rakesh master is the choreographer. We have completed the shoot today. We are planning two songs in Beedar and one song in RFC with which the entire shooting will be completed. Casting is good for this film. SD John’s camera work is wonderful. Entire movie is being shot in Red camera. Balu garu crooned two songs. He also appreciated the songs. I’m happy to work with a good team and producers with immense passion. I hope the movie will become a grand success.”

Music director Sai Srikanth said, “I was able to compose good songs only due to the freedom given by my music director. All songs will be situation bound. Balu garu sang two songs and Nihaal sang one. Alli garu is doing good dance moves for the songs. Thanks to my director and producer for giving me this opportunity.”

Producer Boddeda Shivaji said, “Movies are my passion. I heard several scripts but finally liked this story. With the cooperation and encouragement given by Aali garu we were able to do the film as per the schedules. I feel proud to produce Aali’s 50th film as hero. Many good films are likely to come in near future if small producers are being encouraged.”

Nihaal said, “Srikanth made me sing a wonderful song on Ganesha. I’m confident that this song will revitalize me.”
