D for Dopidi Success Meet

Success meet of Varun Sandesh, Sundeep Kishan starer 'D for Dopidi' was held in Hyderabad this evening (Saturday). The film is directed by Siraj Palla and produced by Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK and Nani. Dil Raju released the film on his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

In the success meet hero Varun Sandesh said, "The film got released for Christmas and running in theaters with genuine talk. Although the film got mixed reviews, the audience is enjoying the film thoroughly. There are no dances and fights. This is an upbeat film among all my films."

Nani commented, "I joined this team with sekfishness. 'D for Dopidi' will appear trendy film after 2 or 3 years. This film is about four bank robbers with less IQ. We believed that the film would be a huge success but were unsure whether in TV or in theaters. But the audience have received the film well and proved that they can think well in advance than us. I decided to work with this team again and again produce more films in the near future."

Dil Raju said, "We have released the film worldwide through our banner. In general these kind of films get released in very few theaters. However we released in large number of theaters. 'd for Dopidi' received positive talk. We are now planning to make it compact."

Director Diraj said, "D for Dopidi got released on 25 and received wonderful response from everywhere. Few of them opined that the film would have been even better with songs in it. Audience is thoroughly enjoying the humor. We have learnt in yesterday's tour that many are watching it for numerous times."

Raj said, "The feedback is same from Pungunuru and the US. Many were surprised to know that the film was made with a tight budget. However budget is very important for such kind of films. Our first project with brainfuk comedy became successful."

Krishna DK said, "D for Dopidi has a fresh concept and not a regular film. It's the first film for the director. Except Varun and Sandeep, the rest of the cast is fresh. We have learnt not to under estimate the audience's intelligence and ability."
