Karthik, Samskruthy Shenoy and Kanika Kapoor are playing the lead roles in the new film titled ‘Tippu’ and ‘Warrior of Love’ as the tag line was launched on Tuesday (12 of August) at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. DV Satyanarayana Raju is going to produce the film under Aditya Films banner with Jagadeesh Daneti as director. Telangana IT minister K Taraka Ramarao sounded the clap board for the muhurat shot. Minister of Andhra Pradesh Panchayathi Raj Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu switched on the camera and veteran director K Raghavendra Rao have participated the pooja program. Later a press meet was held.
Speaking at the press meet, Tammareddy Bharathwaj said, “I’m happy that the film starring Karthik as hero with Jagadeesh Daneti as director is starting today. I’m happy that Karthik, son of renowned distributer Sita Rama Raju, is being introduced as a hero. Makers are planning to shoot the film without any break and release it in November.”
Addressing the gathering, D Suresh Babu said, “I’m happy that Karthik, son of renowned distributor Sita Rama Raju, is being introduced as a hero. ‘Tippu’ is a cute love story. I wish that everyone acting in the film will get good name and recognition.”
Addressing the audience, Ayyanna Patrudu said, “Sita Rama Raju, who has the experience of distributing more than 300 films is introducing his son to the Telugu film industry with ‘Tippu’. I wish that the film will be successful. Bifurcation of the state has created so many myths in the film industry. Even though the states are different, areas are different and governments are different, the development of the film industry will not stop. As many families depend on the film industry. I wish that the film industry will develop in both the states.”
K Taraka Rama Rao explained, “I’m happy that Karthik, son of renowned distributer Sita Rama Raju, is being introduced as a hero. I wish that ‘Tippu’ will be big success. . I wish that everyone acting in the film will get good name and recognition. Cinema is a powerful media. After moving out from Madras to Hyderabad, it took 40 years for the Telugu industry to settle. We will give our full cooperation for the betterment of the film industry. Telangana government has allotted 2000acars of land to the film industry. All works related to that are started. Not just for the Telugu film industry, Hyderabad has to become hub for the global film industry. It is quite common to have minor disturbances as the state is divided. They will settle down soon. The film industry should develop even in Andhra Pradesh. We have good locations in the surroundings of Vizag and Araku. Even there the film industry should develop. Even though the Telugu film industry is in the second place in Indian film industry, but output wise we don’t have good market. We have to improve in that segment. We will give our full cooperation for this to happen.”
Director Jagadeesh Daneti informed the press, “I was software professional, but I’m here because of my passion towards films. I started my career as an assistant director. Later I became a writer. Puri Jagnnath, Vinayak and Gopal have supported me a lot. I got an opportunity to work under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. I approached B Suresh Babu, he supported me a lot. In this process I narrated the story to Sita Rama Raju and he zeroed it in a single sitting. Even though they can work in a big banner, they have introduced Karthik with this film. This shows the trust they have on the story. We are planning to shoot the film in four schedules. The first schedule will be in Hyderabad, the second schedule will be in Mysore and Bangalore and the third schedule will be again in Hyderabad. The final schedule will take care of flash back and songs. With that we are planning to wrap up the shooting and release the film in November.”
Hero Karthik expressed his views saying, “I’m happy that I’m being introduced as a hero with the film ‘Tippu’ which is produced by my father Sita Rama Raju. I won’t let him down.”
Heroines Samskruthy and Kanika Kapoor too spoke at the press meet and conveyed their thanks to the director and producers for giving them the opportunity.
