Versatile actor Shafi, who carved a special image for himself in the hearts of Telugu audience by playing the antagonist as well as the supporting roles, is playing the major role in the film titled ‘Paradise’. ‘Horrible Love Story’ is the tag line. The film has taken off on Wednesday (Aug27) at Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad. Producer Damodar Prasad sounded the clap board for the muhurat shot, while Allu Ramakrishna swithched on the camera and Ravichandran directed it. B Satyanarayana is producing the film under Naga Satya Pictures banner. Hemanth and Gurpreeth Singh Kaur are being introduced as male and female leads respectively. Ravi Chandran, who worked under prominent Tamil directors, is making his debut as director in Telugu industry with this film.
Speaking at the film’s launch function, Damodar Prasad said, “Wonderful team is working for the film. New actors are being introduced with this film. I wish success to the director, producers and to the team.”
Addressing the gathering, Shafi said, “Ravi Chandran, who did course in 24 Crafts in Boston and worked under prominent Tamil directors, is making his debut as director in Telugu industry with this film. It’s a good story. I’m donning a police officer role. I wish all the best to the team.”
Director Ravi Chandran said, “It’s a horrible love story. The story is about the problems faced by the love couple due to mafia. The film revolves around five characters. I’m thankful to the producers for giving me this opportunity.”
Producer B Satyanarayana informed the press, “Shafi is playing the major role in ‘Paradise’. I was impressed by the script narrated by the director. It’s a different love story. We went ahead with the film. The film is set on Hyderabad mafia backdrop. Hemanth and renowned model Gurpreeth Singh Kaur are being introduced as male and female leads respectively. Everyone will like the film for sure.”
Dhanraj and Raghu, who have created great comedy in super hit program ‘Jabardasth’ on small screen, are playing key roles if the film.
