Stylish action thriller ‘Dhruva’ which was made in the combination of Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Geetha Arts banner, stylish director Surender Reddy, ace producer Allu Aravind and NV Prasad, has hit the screens worldwide in a grand level on December 9. The film is running successfully and on this occasion, the film unit has arranged a program called ‘Salute To Audience’.
Ram Charan, who won lot of accolades for his power packed performance, said, “When Allu Aravind garu and I watched the original version of ‘Dhruva’, we were very impressed and Allu Aravind garu accepted to produce the film. Surender Reddy garu has handled the direction department and that became big asset for the film. My mother feels very happy when Mama Allu Aravind and I works together. I am very happy with the success of the film. I am thankful to artists who played my friends in the film. Posani has portrayed a wonderful role. Hiphop Thamiza’s music is stupefying. He has taken the film to the next level with the background score. I would like to work with him again and again. Dancing for his songs had been a tough one for me. I would like to thank audience ad media personnel. Rakul’s looks in the song ‘Pareshan’ has got applause from my fans and audience in theaters. I never bother about ranks, records or seats.”
Addressing the gathering, Allu Aravind said, “At the time of release, we felt nervous due to the cash-crunch caused by demonetisation and on the other side Chiranjeevi’s film is releasing in the next month. Many people suggested us to release ‘Dhruva’ after Sankranti. Ram Charan and me have decided to take the dare step. Personally, this year is very favourable to me. Bunny, Sirish and Charan have given a hit each. Post the huge success of ‘Magadheera’, I wanted to make such a huge hit film again. My dream came true through ‘Dhruva’. I am very happy that Ram Chanaran’s two top grossers are from our Geetha Arts banner.”
“The film ‘Dhruva’ has once again proved that Telugu audience will always be in forefront to encourage, if the content is good. The film is receiving appreciations that Telugu version is much impressive than the Tamil version. I wish ‘Dhruva’ which garnered ?50 crores will soon reach 100 crores,” said Rakul Praat Singh.
Director Surender Reddy shared, “I am thankful to audience for making ‘Dhruva’ a big hit despite the cash-crunch caused by demonetisation. Picking up the project is itself a great thing. Some people said it is correct and some say it is not. Hero and producer trusted the script and went ahead. Naveen has done his editing job excellently. He became good friend of mine through this film.”
