Teaser launch function of ‘Nakshatram’, the joint venture of K Srinivasulu, S Venugopal and Sajju, was held on Sunday i.e. on May 7 in Hyderabad. This action entertainer that features Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Sai Dharam Tej, Pragya Jaiswal, is being made under Sri Chakra Media, Butta Bomma Creations and Win Win Win Creations banner with creative director Krishna Vamsi as director.
Speaking at the teaser launch event, Regina Cassandra said, “Before everything else I would like to speak about Krishna Vamsi garu. I have heard from many that he presents heroines beautifully. It’s very hard to find out his vision. I am eagerly waiting to watch the film. I feel that working for ‘Nakshatram’ is one of my career’s best moments. Kishan, Sai Dharam Tej and Pragya Jaiswal have given wonderful performance. They have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. I am very happy to be part of this wonderful film.”
On this occasion, Pragya Jaiswal said, “We are all eagerly waiting for the release of the film. We all have worked hard together for the good outcome of the film. ‘Nakshatram’ would be a life changing film for me. I have learned a lot while working for this film. Addressing the gathering, Sai Dharam Tej said, “One day, my friend phoned me and asked me to do a special character in Krishna Vamsi garu’s film. I feel I am so lucky that I have got the opportunity to work under Krishna Vamsi garu’s direction. I came here as a white paper and learned a lot while working for this film. Krishna Vamsi garu has taught me several things like a guru. Thanish has given wonderful performance. Srikanth garu has presented the film beautifully. I am so happy that I have worked with a wonderful team.”
On this occasion, Thanish shared, “I used to ask Krishna Vamsi garu for a chance whenever I meet him. I was offered a role in ‘Nakshatram’. If I didn’t accept this role, I might have missed a great opportunity and chance to learn many things. Krishna Vamsi garu has given moral support to me. I played negative character in the film. The support and confidence given by everyone in the team is unforgettable. I am extremely confident that ‘Nakshatram’ will become big hit film for sure.”
Addressing the gathering, director Krishna Vamsi said, “I am thankful to the producers for trusting me and my script. I have good relationship with Sai Dharam Tej since 10 years. Initially, I have designed a middle aged character in the place of Sai Dharam Tej’s character in the film. But, later I changed that character to young guy. Sai Dharam tej struck in my mind when I designed that character. As he is riding high with successful films, I was hesitant to approach Sai Dharam Tej and therefore I pushed my friend to ask Sai Dharam Tej. Sai immediately met me at my residence and asked me when he should join the sets. Sai has done a great job. After watching Sundeep Kishan’s performance in ‘Venkatadri Express’ I decided that he is the perfect apt to the role in ‘Nakshatram’. You will see Sundeep in a new look. I have observed Ramya Krishna’s looks, during the starting days of her career, in Regina. I felt that she is is perfectly apt to middle class girl character in the film and therefore I roped her. After watching ‘Kanche’, I roped in Pragya for the soft character in the film. She did very hard work. Thanish has given excellent performance. There are six songs in the film and all came out excellently. Prakash Raj, Shivaji Raja, Raghu Babu and Tarjan and some others are part of the cast.”
