Shallaja Ramalyer - Keynote Speaker
Ms. Shailaja Ramaiyer (IAS) is the In-Charge Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad.
She is also the Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director of theTelangana Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd and In-Charge Director, Handloom and Textiles, Telangana State.

A1997 batch IAS officer, Ms. Ramaiyer has held a number of prestigious government positions. She has worked in the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department as well as the Women & Child Welfare Department. Earlier on she was District Collector, Krishna District and Joint Collector of Hyderabad district.

B. Kalyan Chakravarthy, Director General EPTRI (Inaugural Address)
A senior bureaucrat, Mr. Kalyan Chakravarthy is Director General of the Environment Protection, Training and Research Institute (EPTRI). His current focus is to make EPTRI an international hub for environmental protection.

Mr. Chakravarthy has held various positions in the Government of Assam and Government of India in the Departments of Agriculture, Finance, Revenue, District Administration, Urban Development Administration and Consumer Affairs and, Food and Public Distribution.

An MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Chakravarthy is a BTech from IIT Madras and a BL from Osmania University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Management and Economics from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Pullela Gopichand (Special Address)
Pullela Gopichand, a renowned badminton player is the Chief National Coach for the Indian badminton team. He won the All England Open Badminton Championship in 2001 becoming the second Indian to achieve this feat after Prakash Padukone. He runs the Gopichand Badminton Academy. Gopichand has received the Arjuna Award in 2000, the Dronacharya Award in 2009 and the prestigious Padma Bhushan — India's third highest civilian award — in 2014 for his accomplishments in sports.
Karuna Gopal (Special Address)

Ms. Karuna Gopal, is an internationally acclaimed thought leader, columnist, keynote speaker and advisor on Smart Cities from Hyderabad. Ms. Gopal contributed to the design of the 100 Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India and has been an invited speaker at the launch of the mission by the Prime Minister. She was a member of the speaker delegation representing the Union Minister of Urban Development at COP21- Conference on Climate Change, Paris.

In the past, she has served as an Institutional Development expert for DFID (Department of International Development, UK), subject matter expert for World Bank and with USAID projects. Currently, she is a member of the Expert Group evaluating the Swachh Bharat Mission of the Government of India, on behalf of Asian Development Bank.
