NTR Greets Dasari on Getting NTR Award for Year 2007

Director, actor, producer and writer Sri Dasari Narayana Rao was awarded with the prestigious National NTR award. On hearing the news several film personalities greeted him at his residence and one of the prominent among them was Jr NTR. On this happy occasion he recollected his memories and attachment with Late NT.Rama Rao. He said that he will be happy only if any body calls him as ‘Darsakaratna’ and no other title could entice him.

At the first instance he recollected Late NTR saying “Dasari will become a great director one day or other” when he was associated with him for a film ‘Oke Kutumbam’. He proudly said that it has become a true incidence now and expressed his happiness for taking an award founded on his name.

He recollected his experiences with Late NT.Rama Rao while doing films ‘Manushulantha Okkate’ and Bobbili Puli’ describing him as a great universally acclaimed actor. Dasari further said that the film ‘Sardar Paparayudu’ was his first inspiration to enter into political field.

While recollecting Late NTR’s discipline and punctuality in attending to call sheets, he expressed his disappointment with the present actors for not maintaining their punctuality at work.
