Mohan Babu gifts a big painting to ANR

Dr Mohan Babu and his elder son Manchu Vishnu presented a huge painting to Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao on Wednesday in Hyderabad on the occasion of his 90th birthday which was celebrated recently. The 18 feet wide and 4 feet high portrait consisting information of Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s film career was drawn and painted by artist Ramesh Gurajala from Srikalahasti. The specialty of this painting is when it is viewed from certain distance it replicates images of Lord Maha Vishnu and Lord Sri Rama.
Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who was delighted with the birthday gift from Dr Mohan Babu and said, “I learnt about this painting through Mohan Babu few days ago. I’m delighted to see all my films being demonstrated as one picture that replicates the images of Maha Vishnu and Sri Rama. I congratulate artist Ramesh Gurajala on this occasion. I also feel blessed and thank Mohan Babu and Vishnu.”
Dr Mohan Babu said, “NTR and ANR are like my two eyes. I worked with both of them in several films. I was amazed by seeing the portrait.”
Manchu Vishnu said, “Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu is the role model to many people in the industry. Hence we wanted to gift something special on his birthday and initiated this portrait six months ago. Sumanth rendered lot of help in providing information regarding films of Akkineni garu.”
Artist Ramesh Gurajala expressed his happiness for giving him the opportunity to make a prestigious painting of Dr Akkineni Nageswara Ra and thanked Manchu Vishnu. Sumanth also participated in this event.
