Sankruti Shikhar School Event

On 15th December 2016, Sanskruti celebrated the Progress & Success of our children. At "Sanskruti Shikhar", Amrit - Varsha - Kapadia School, For Differently Abled Children. Prakash Nagar, Begumpet.

Our Chief Suest was Mrs.Geela Karan,Founder Prfndpaf of Gftanjaff School, Begumpet, Hyderabad.

Gitanjali School was established in the year 1985. It offers value based education to students with a blend of academics and co-curricular activities. The school follows CBSE, ICSE and CIE curricula. The school is situated in Hyderabad. Ms. Gita Karan is the founder and principal of the school. She has been associated with the institution over the past 30 years
The school focuses on instilling leadership qualities, respect for culture and responsibility towards the society. Gitanjali maintains a strict ratio of 1:17 between teachers and students. While experimental teaching is done by Creya Education Company, the school has outsourced physical education activities to Leapstart.

The school conducts workshops and seminars for students aspiring for higher studies abroad. Ms.
Gita said, “We have a special section for the less privileged children who are under the guidance of special educators and we try to integrate them in the normal stream. We are able to achieve a lot because of the cooperation from the parents.”
Gitanjali School conducts a lot of workshops for teachers and theatre encouraged to implement innovative teaching techniques. Ms. Gita said, “Staff is appreciated when good work is done. They relax when sent for excursion and picnic once a year.”
The teachers are evaluated by the Head of the School, Head of the Department and Students. Performance of the students is another factor considered for evaluating teachers.

Students go through regular health check-up arranged by the school. Ms. Gita added, “For emergency we have a tie up with hospitals close by. For emotional strength we have appointed Counselors in school who are available throughout the day.” The school uses LCD projectors, smart boards, internet facility, e-library, math lab and GAFE for teaching students.

In 2013 and 2014 students of the school - Lucky Kaul and Monish won quizzes at the national level.
In 2011 Gitanjali School was ranked 8th best in the Education World India School Rankings award. In 2008 the school was recognized as the 3rd best school in the South Zone.

In 2005) Ms. Gita received the National award instituted by the HR Ministry Government of India. Bhargav also a student of the school was awarded a scholarship amount of Rs. 80,000/- per annum to pursue life sciences for 5 years.
