Students of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology yet again proved their mettle once again as they bagged 1st position in the 4th Edition Of Go Kart Design Championship (GKDC) - An event to test the potential, zeal innovation and design of engineers across the country. Team Super Ignite triumphed as the overall winner.
The event witnessed 187 Teams from Various Engineering Colleges from all over the country under one roof vying for the prestigious top position. The GNIT mechanical team SUPER IGNITE consisted of enthusiastic youngsters specializing in their respective engineering craft collaborating with the objective to secure the top spot.
Team Super Ignite Victory at 4th Edition Of Go Kart Design Championship Organized By Indian Institute Of New Era Engineers (ISNEE) is another chapter to Hyderabad’s Dynamic Zeal and Progressive Culture bringing it on the world map of innovation & technology.
Team Comprised of 24 Members- Students of Mechanical Engineering Department of GNIT - D.Sai Charan the Captain Led the Team from the Front. D. Sai Charan said "we divided the team into 5 Departments-Designing-Braking-Steering-Engine & Management and all the departments coordinated in Sync to make our Team Super Ignite win the competition.
Speaking on the occasion Sardar G.S Kohli - Vice Chairman -Guru Nanak Institution said "Guru Nanak institute of Technology added yet another laurel to its list of accomplishments. We at Guru Nanak train and educate students to think as pioneers of the future, equipping them with knowledge, purpose and keen sense of responsibility to nurture dreams and make them into an inevitable reality”. Sardar G.S Kohli announced the reward of Rupees 1 Lakh to the team which will help them in further research and to upgrade their design to the next level.
Sardar G.S Kohli further announced that Gurunak Institutions is set to be first campus in Telangana which will build a International Standard Go Kart Racing Track on the sprawling campus of GNI at Ibrahimpatnam making it as the First Institution in Nation to build a international standard race track in at their campus
