Hyderabad 31st March 2017: The "VVS foundation black tie dinner" is an unique event which is focused not only on raising funds but also an effort to spread the word about sports coaching/training in India. This event will act as platform for stalwarts, change makers, leaders & experts to converse. The aim of this event is to create a path for change in one of most ignored topics of Indian subcontinent "Quality Sports Coaching". This Event will be done on annual basis , 2017's edition will have the 2 panel discussions

About the Foundation
VVS Foundation was found in the year 2012, to enrich the lives of these children and to catalyze a socioeconomic change in India. We are an NGO raising money from individuals and corporate sponsorships to provide qualitative education as well as sports coaching to the meritorious and skilled children. The VVS Foundation believes every child with potential must be given the opportunity to flourish, and that financial impediments should not be a hindrance. Our aim is to stand for individuals who aspire to rise high but are held back by affordability issues.
The founder:
Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman, fondly known as V.V.S. Laxman, Padma Shri awardee, former legendary cricketer firmly believes in honing the talent of young enthusiastic minds who due to lack of affordability don't attain the desired results. He wants to promote all those aspiring youngsters who aim for the stars but the clouds of gloominess overshadow their aspirations.

Mrs. SailajaLaxman, a philanthropist by nature, is very passionate about education. She personally feels that if proper education and guidance is given to students coming from economically weaker section of the society, they can shine.
