Comedy King Dr Rajendra Prasad was honored with the prestigious Royal Reel Award at Canada International Film Festival on Sunday. The award was given away to him for his performance in his recent film ‘Dream’. He portrayed a retired army officer who can’t differentiate between a dream and reality. Rajendra Prasad said, “I started my film career trusting humor and entertained the audience in different characters. Those characters only have earned me this status today. In ‘Dream’ I played a retired army officer who can’t differentiate between dream and reality. I’m very happy to receive this prestigious Royal Reel award for the character I played with immense passion. The actor headed straight to Vancouver to attend 2013 TOIFA awards (The Times of India Film Awards) ceremony where he met Shahrukh Khan, Prabhu Deva and Anuraag Basu.
