Novotel Hyderabad Airport (NHA) today felicitated Woman Bikers by awarding them mentorship of WAAG (Women at Accor Generation) members of NHA. The women bikers group successfully completed expedition covering a distance of 8600 KMs travelling from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
WAAG is an innovative initiative of started globally in AccorHotels to overall develop the female workforce along with their professional growth. AccorHotels target to have a global 50:50 workforce ratio of female and male team members. Thus all women team members are recognised as WAAG members and there is also a committee comprising of heads of departments in every hotel that is responsible for the development and mentoring of all the WAAG members. The women bikers will act as Mentors to WAAG helping them explore opportunities for the betterment and well- being of women at NHA.
WAAG's aim is to fight against stereotypes and help AccorHotels reach its gender equality objectives. The women bikers will support the WAAG's objectives by mentoring, sharing their experiences and training of women. The involvement of women biker in WAAG will help in getting an external view point and thus nurturing the WAAG members .
In an inspiring feat, all three women undertook a motorcycle expedition from Kashmir to Kanayakumari in 27 days.Representing diverse backgrounds but bound together by a passion for riding motorcycles and promoting a cause of 'One lakh hands for One Lakh moms' the women travelled through picturesque terrain of country.
The 27 day expedition comprised of 3 woman biker from Hyderabad Bikerni Group who travelled the distance from Kanyakumari Kashmir to raise awareness about One Lakh Hands for One Lakh Moms Campaign for promoting WOMAN'S Wellness &Healthy lifestyle. The biker's expedition which included Jai Bharathi, Smriti Gattu and Anita Peter along with 2 men NagarjunaTummala and Rahul MantriPragada drove through the length of country for creating awareness about the women wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle.
