The eighth edition of the series, curated by Meraki presents Desi Tails by Thota Laxminarayana, an acclaimed artist whose palette is groomed in simple, multi-coloured geometric patterns. A harmony of sorts meets the eye as all the drama is outdoor-centric: The gurgling waters, the gliding clouds, sweeping branches, birds in motion and one cannot miss the generous sprinkle of flowers that indicate a metaphorical connect with the universe and the good-old earthly life. Although the idyllic is the essence of Laxminarayana’s paintings, one cannot miss the conscious mix of folklore humour he instils in his works. His works will be on display from 5th to 27th August, 2017 at The Art Walkway, Park Hyatt Hyderabad.
