Hyderabad, September 23rd, 2017: Tollywood upcoming Actress Madhulagna Das formally Inaugurated 'Pochampally IKAT art Mela 2017' a 7-day Hand woven Eco friendly Hand-loom Products exhibition at new marketing complex, Tilak road, opp: Payal Foot wear, Abids.
On the occasion inaugurating the Mela actress Madhulagna das said, “It’s glad to see various Hand-loom apparel, particularly designer Fabrics, Ikat silk and cotton saris, to be showcased for the Hand-loom Fashion Connoisseurs in the city .
The Expo will be on till 29th September 2017, 10:00 am to 8:30 pm.
“Handlooms are part of an age old Indian tradition element of Indian culture and rich artistry. By promoting hand-looms, we support the artisans and local community who have been passing on their skills for generations. Promoting creativity and originality, each design is a result of individual artisan’s creativity which is influenced by the local traditions and cultures” said Mr Devender- Chairman, Lava Kumar-Director- Pochampally Handloom Park.
