Ltd. The plush showroom located in the aristocratic neighborhood of Jubilee hills, will also have a state-of- the-art Service Centre. This showroom and service centre is only the third such facility of Bentley, in India, after Delhi and Mumbai.
This state-of-the-art amenity will cater to the needs of the ever growing customer base in Hyderabad and South India. The facility will bring Bentley closer to owners in the southern and eastern part of India. Bentley India is very optimistic about future business growth in South India as a whole, we see tremendous potential here and as and when we feel the market is large enough, we would open newer showrooms and workshops in those cities, says Mr. Satya Bagla, Managing Director, Exclusive Motors.
Mr. Satya Bagla said, the opening of this showroom, will take us closer to customers in this part of the country, they will get better quality service and better information. We are looking to strengthen this market further. Whenever we find any city commercially viable and the number of sales reach a critical number, we open a facility there. South is a important market for us, therefore we are at Hyderabad. In the super luxury car segment, we are the only ones who opened a showroom here, otherwise all other players are restricted to Delhi and Mumbai. Our cars are in 21 different cities in India, including places like Jharkand, Kolhapur. Right now the number of cars we sell is in double digit and should reach three digits by next year end. We have been growing at a rate of 15% year on year. Even Hyderabad market is showing a 15% growth every year. Right now we are at the tip of the iceberg as far as the potential of the Indian market is concerned and will see significant growth in the years to come. The price range of our cars vary between Rs 3 crores to Rs 9 crores, which is also dependant on customisation and the prevailing exchange rate. We take six months time from order booking to delivery. Our customers are typically High Net worth Individuals, passionate about motor cars. Post GST the import duty has gone up by 22% over the pre GST price, the price for the customer has increased by 11%.
