State Health Minister Sri Dr C Laxma Reddy stated that people are coming forward to deal with their health difficulties by virtue of state of the art technologies available today. He appreciated the efforts to make available the new technology and introduction of Face Clinics in city. The minister inaugurated the face implant, face clinic of noted surgeon Dr Raghunath Reddy at Banjara Hills road number 2 on Sunday. Khairatabad MLA Sri Ch Ramachandra Reddy, Narsapur MLA Sri Madan Reddy and MLC Sri Shambipur Raju participated in the event as guests.
Sri Laxma Reddy on this occasion said that it was a good initiative to provide a graceful life for the people suffering with issues by birth. He said that Dr Raghunath Reddy has already performed dental implant surgeries to many people during past 8 years. MLA Sri Ch Ramachandra Reddy said that some sections of society are willing to see go through the surgery for dental implant and face clinics would be their safest option.
Face Clinics managing director Raghunath Reddy said that people were curious to set right their injuries on face and any discrepancies by birth. The number of people is growing who wanted to get treated for their injuries that deface them and any other issues to improve face aesthetics. Jaw adjustment, teeth alignment, face cleaves and other issues related to face are extensively asked to be treated, said Dr Raghunath Reddy. More people are consulting for treatment of dark spots near eyes and face surgeries, he added.
He explained that dental surgeons can perform surgeries for only tooth but facial surgeons can ensure that facial aesthetics are set right and they do a great service to dental-medical field and considered as implant surgeons. Dr Raghunath said that he has been setting up face clinics with the help of experts from different related fields. The clinic is spread across 7500 sft.
The cases of cleft lips occur to one in 600 people, said Dr Raghunath. Earlier, only few people used to opt for surgery but now many are approaching the face implant surgeons, he added. Explaining about the surgeries Dr Raghunath said that Orthognatics Surgery can be performed on persons of all ages. He said that face implant surgery sets right the dislocated upper jaw, lower jaw, tooth gums, nose and other important areas of face. He said that demand for face surgeries had been more in our state than other states.
