Superhit 2010 Awards

BA Raju and B Jaya’s Superhit Magazine has come up with Superhit awards for the first time on the completion of 20 years of the weekly magazine. The Sarvasakthi Superhit Awards were presented to the best of 2010 in all the categories. The function was held at Hitex in Hyderabad. The awards function was grandeur with top shots from Tollywood.

The function was graced by top film personalities like Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dr D Ramanaidu, K Raghavendra Rao, Dr Chiranjeevi, superstar Krishna, Smt Vijaya Nirmala, rebel star Krishnam Raju, Dr Srihari, Gemini Kiran, Allu Arjun, Raana, Naga Chaitanya, Manchu Manoj, Ileana, Kajal, Shriya, Sneha, Mamta Mohan Das, Deeksha Seth, Saloni, Hari Priya, Sheela, Varun Sandesh, Sekhar Kammula, VV Vinayak, Puri Jagannath, Sreenu Vaitla, Krish, Veeru Potla, Sai Kumar, Sharwanand, Singer Sunitha, Lakshmi Manchu, Kamna Jetmalani, Uday Kiran, Boyapati Sreenu, MS Raju, Devineni Prasad, Kota Srinivas Rao, Parachuri Brothers, Brahmaji, R Narayana Murthy, K Atchi Reddy, etc.

Awards in various categories were given away to the winners.

Later while addressing the gathering Dr D Ramanaidu said, “Raju has come up to this level with great hard work in life. He is one of the disciplined persons in the industry that he followed it sincerely right from the time of launching this magazine. I wish him for many more successes in life. Raju is associated with everyone in the industry.”

Chiranjeevi said, “Journalists are my family. I’m happy for getting the chance to grace this function. I bought the first copy of Superhit Magazine. Along with our blessings their hard work also paid them off. I wish their Superhit Magazine to become as big successful as their life. Raju garu kind heart has made everyone come for this function. It is very difficult to be surrounded by the people. He earned so many hearts with his kind nature. It’s really a great honor for him to have a better off who understands him.”

Balakrishna said, “The Superhit Magazine which was launched by me has successfully completed 20 years. I wish me all the success in the future also. I’m very happy for getting the Best Actor award for the film ‘Simha’. I thank the audience for watching the film ‘Parama Veera Chakra’.”

According to Krishna, BA Raju worked as his PRO before he married Jaya and started the Superhit Magazine. He said, “Whenever I used to go abroad I would find only two Telugu magazines and Superhit magazine would be one among them. I wish them a bright future ahead.”

Vijaya Nirmala said, “Raju is turning very soft as he is grows in stature. He made his wife as a director. I wish her to see as my competent as a lady director.”

Nagarjuna said, “It’s unbelievable to note that 25 years have passed away so quickly. I’m very happy to receive the award from Balayya. As an actor he is senior to me. I thank Veeru Potla for giving me a successful film. Everyone needs a person like BA Raju. He encouraged me right from my first film and now he is encouraging my son.”

Krishnam Raju said, “I’m very happy to take this award from Narayana Rao. We are associated with each other right from the time of ‘Katakatala Rudrayya’. He encouraged me by saying that the film would become a superhit and everyone knows how big hit was that film. I did it even without listening to the story. Similarly, no one can direct a film like ‘Thandra Paparayudu’ except him. I know Raju garu for the past 25 years. I congratulate him on the completion of 20 years of their magazine.”

Kota Srinivas Rao said, “I thank Raju garu for giving the opportunity to receive this award from Dasari Narayana Rao garu. I wish to get yet another award soon for the film ‘Parama Veera Chakra’. I wish Raju garu and Jaya garu a grand success with everyone’s blessings.”

Dasari Narayana Rao said, “This magazine started with my thinking and support. I can run a magazine better than Ramoji Rao because he has succeeded in it and I lost Rs 10 crores. It is not an easy task to run a magazine successful for 20 years as per the readers’ tastes. The size of Superhit is very big. Raju won everyone’s heart in the movie industry. Telugu movie journalism is very pure. The Superhit Magazine earned very good reputation. I wrote a few prominent articles on my life for 52 weeks. It is a good sign to note that this magazine started to give away the awards. I’m confidentally telling that Balayya will receive National Award for the film ‘Parama Veera Chakra’.”
