Mirchi Green Ally Campaign Launch

Hyderabad, June 6, 2011: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Hyderabad's hottest radio station, in association with Maruti Suzuki proudly presents the 'Mirchi Green Ally' a campaign celebrating the 'World Environment Week' to create awareness about the hazards of pollution. Kick starting the campaign at Radio Mirchi - Hyderabad, Mr. C. V. Anand IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad Traffic Police and Mr. Omkar Nath, Regional Manager, AP, Maruti Suzuki India Limited graced the occasion urging the people of Hyderabad to help curb the effects of pollution. To mark the significance of the occasion, Radio Mirchi organized a week long Green Rally (8 CNG driven cars) in the city. The Green Rally proposes to visit 36 busiest traffic signals in the city through the 6 days and gratify the Traffic Police personnel for their services. Radio Mirchi interacts with commuters and asks them to help make the city a better place.
