Santosham 9th Anniversary Film Awards 2010 Press Meet

On the eve of completion of 10 years of Santosham Cinema Weekly Magazine a press meet was organised at Film Chamber in Hyderabad. This programme was attended by Ambika Krishna, Chakri, Suresh Kondeti, Raja Vannemreddy, Ananth Sriram, Prem Rakshit, etc. The first invitation of Santosham Film Awards was unveiled by Chakri and was given to Saloni. Later Saloni cut the 9th Anniversary cake and offered the piece to Suresh Kondeti’s daughter Lakshmi on the occasion of her birthday.

Later in the press meet Ambika Krishna said, “The Telugu film industry is the biggest among all in India. Huge budget films are made here without compromising in budgets. ‘Santosham’ magazine takes the struggles and difficulties of the industry to the people. This magazine is like a pearl. Suresh being a normal journalist started this magazine and successfully completed 9 years and stepped into 10th year. He is also organizing the awards function for past few years. One must appreciate him for his good human nature. He also faced lot of problems as a distributor and a producer. We have to eradicate the ratings given to movies since the youth is following them based on the ratings.”

Saloni said, “I congratulate Suresh garu on the eve of completing 9 years. My family members always express happiness when they see this magazine or my photos.”

Ananth Sriram said, “Handling multiple tasks is not as easy as we think. But Suresh Kondeti handles everything on single hand. I wrote a theme song ‘Santoshaniki Santosham Makutam’ on the occasion of the magazine completing 9 years for which Chakri composed the melodious tune. Suresh garu made me write this song in 1 hour when I went on ‘Naanna’ vijaya yatra.”

Chakri said, “I will whole-heartedly attend the Santosham function. The reason being Suresh is my good friend. I wish a grand success for this year’s awards function.”

Suresh Kondeti said, “I’m not the only man behind the success of this magazine. My entire team’s hard work is included in my journey of this magazine. The awards function will take place on August 6th at Novotal Hotel. Z Channel is sponsoring this year’s awards function.”
