City temperatures soar as Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International s Fashion Week goes on a fashion rampage on its opening day

Hyderabad, December 19th, 2014: The fourth edition of the Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week in association with Storm Fashion Company brings back glamour and panache with the leading names from the fashion industry. The three day fashion extravaganza is all set to captivate fashionistas with a marriage of contemporary and traditional concepts. A unique blend of innovation, creativity and style was seen on the ramp at the Vivanta by Taj, Begumpet, as designers Jaya Mishra, Hari Anand and Manoviraj Khosla unveiled their latest collections.

Kolkata based designer Jaya Mishra raised the curtains to the 'Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week' with her collection Royal Grandeur. Befitting its name, the silhouettes embodied the vibrant heritage of Sufism and reflected old-world charm of Kings and Queens. Inspired from the heritage of the Mughal royalties, the silhouettes covered all aspects of a royal Indian wedding wardrobe, for the brides. The colour palette ranging from muted gold to midnight black symbolizing royalty, life, love, liberty, poise, and elegance, accentuated the theme. Miss India's up the glam quotient as they strut down the ramp for the designer.

Designer Hari Anand added pizazz to the evening with an understated yet elegant line of silhouettes. His collection 'Tomorrow' was a perfect blend of simplicity, style and innovation marrying modern twist to ancient impressions. Working with his signature hues - monochromes, the designer worked with sarees, lehengas, jackets and dresses. The stunning Vimala Raman enthralled the audiences as the showstopper for the designer in a gorgeous silhouette.

Designer Manoviraj Khosla known for his vibrant designs showcased his electrifying collection inspired from life. His silhouettes are a magnificent interplay of sequins and colours splashed with a liberal dose of metallic gold in lavish fabrics of silk, linen and velvet. Bangalore's most touted music group, One Nite Stand, got the audience to sway to their captivating, foot tapping numbers, line gorgeous Bollywood actress Meera Chopra strutted the ramp in style for the befitting finale for the day.

The creme-de-la-creme of the city put their party shoes on and danced the night away as DJ Chico spun some foot tapping numbers at the Kingfisher ULTRA Glam Nites. Fashion designers and models were also seen unwinding at the after party. With the dance floor crammed till the wee hours of the morning, the Hyderabad fashionistas definitely had a memorable experience.
