Marks & Spencer Quadruples Store Footprint in Hyderabad

Marks & Spencer (M&S), the iconic British retailer, continues to grow its presence in South India with the opening of two new stores in Hyderabad, as part of its strategy to build a leadership position in the city. The move follows the opening of its flagship store at Jubilee Hills and sees the retailer quadruple its store footprint in Hyderabad from 15,000 sq. ft.to 60,000 sq. ft.
The two new stores have been designed to offer an inspiring, international shopping experience, showcasing M&S’s exceptional quality, stylish winter collections. Trading from two floors across over 22,000 sq. ft. the new store at the Forum Sujana Mall, Kukatpally offers an extensive range across Menswear, Womenswear, Kidswear, Lingerie, as well as skincare products from its beauty catalogue. Whilst the new 7,600 sq. ft. store at the popular GVK One mall offers a wide range of Menswear and Womenswear products.
Speaking at the official opening event at M&S Forum Mall, Venu Nair, Managing Director of Marks & Spencer Reliance India, said: “Expanding our presence in South India is an important part of our growth strategy for India. Hyderabad is an exciting city for Marks & Spencer and our building our store presence here has been our top priority this year. We’ve had a great response from our customers at our new flagship store at Jubilee Hills and we’re delighted to bring our extensive range of exceptional quality, innovative clothing and beauty products to even more customers across Hyderabad.”
Highlights at the stores include M&S’s clever product innovations that are specially designed to make looking great as easy as possible, such as men’s easy to iron long sleeve shirts in twin pack worth Rs. 2199 and a variety of machine washable suits with jackets starting from Rs.3999.
Whilst in Womenswear, a fresh, sleek minimal feel dominates the tone of the winter collection with key trend pieces including the M&S Collection Dress in Cobalt Blue, Rs. 2999, embellished Ivory top Rs. 3799 and Biker Jackets from starting from Rs. 5499.
At M&S Forum Mall an edit of the beauty range brings a selection of key skin care products like the Floral Collection. Highlights also include Pure skincare, made from 95% naturally derived ingredients, scientifically tested Formula Advanced skincare for effective, targeted results and the best-selling Florentyna fragrances.
The Lingerie collection at the store offers coordinating bras and knickers in feminine shades, prints and glamorous silk and lace pieces that are100% machine washable. Highlights include the premium Autograph push up plunge bra at Rs. 2499 and Limited Edition runway balcony bra for Rs.2199.
