360 Degree Camera launched
Hyderabad, 18thApril, 2015: The Three-day ‘Photo Expo’ and ‘Broadcast & Film Expo was inaugurated here in at JRC Convention Centre at Filmnagar, Jubilees Hill, Hyderabad by film actress Manchu Lakshmi.
The Expo on three combined subjects will be open till Monday from, 10.30am to 6.30pm. The entry to the expo is free for ALL with valid ID. The concurrent expos are spread over 90,000 sft. area has over 100 stalls by major brands from the industry showcasing their upcoming as well as existing line of products and services. Organised by city-based Villart Photography, the event is participated by over 100 exhibitors from across India such as Sony, Canon, Pentax, Photoquip, Monarch, Data Color, HP, Epson, Printonica, Apple, DELL, Digiquest, RAFT, Flex Core, Foton, Strobeam, Vibesta, Kailite and others.
About 40,000 photographers are expected to visit the expo from across India in the next three days.
Speaking on the occasion immediately after inaugurating, Manch Lakshmi congratulated Villart for organizing such a massive expo on Photography, Video and Broadcast Media. I thought it must be a small show, but, when I came here more than 100 exhibitors are exhibiting and showcasing their products and services. What is so surprising is that it has an international pavilion. My father is fond of still photography. Our house is full of my father photographs. Each photo has a story to tell. Photography preserves memories for ever. It brings back live the past happenings. Our photographs tell us what is important to us. They are part of our legacy. Photos are excellent tools of communication and sharing of feelings and expressions. Photography has a power to move us. I wish organizers do more such shows in futures she said.
It is perceived that Smart Phones have hit hard the Camera Industry. But, in reality it is not so. Infact, Smart Phones came as a boon to Camera Industry, because of which more and more people are taking pics. These smartphones enable people take pictures more often than before. Once they do that and they realize that they want more quality pics, that is when they look at hi-end cameras. Now people are looking at high end lenses. They are investing in more than one lenses. Education about photography, Photo Education is on the rise, said Vishwarup of Ricoh.
Today people are moving to extensive line of underwater and adventure camera equipment, Water, Weather Resistant DSLR Cameras, lenses, sport optics equipment as well as stylish and compact digital camera known for their rich features, said Vishwarup.
Ricoh has launched Ricoh Theta m15, a one click 360 degrees spherical photos camera and others, he said.
Mahesh Nair of Photo Equip India said they are exhibiting some rare products like battery operated lights, digital lighting equipment, High Speed Lighting which gives 20 flashes in a second. It cost Rs 75 to 95,000 he said.
Sony is exhibiting the world’s first full-frame camera with 5-axis image stabilization. It also showcasing A 7 M2 another worlds first full frame camera with 5K recording facility(Atmos Showgun), said Nimesh Thakkar of Sony Marketing Head.
Printonica of Rajahmundry is exhibiting high end Wedding Albums which cost from Rs 5000/- to 1,50,000/-(One Lakh Fifty thousand). You can touch and feel the saree’s texture and jewellery worn by an individual in the photograph.
Aegis Automation, a leading security surveillance provider who recently bagged a government tender to installed HD Quality CCTVs across 103 police station limits in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad is showcasing their products and technical excellence. Twin Cities need about one lakh CCTVs. Now 1800 CCTVs are being installed. These are HD Megapixtel CCTVs which can be zoomed to read the number of an automobile said K. First time an Online Photo Contest was organised. Several photographers sent by the participants of the contest are also showcased at the expo. The entries which receive maximum public response will be recognised by Villart.
