Junior Chamber International (JCI) is an international organisation which works for the betterment of oneself and the society. Junior Jaycee Wing of JCI Hyderabad Deccan has members between the ages 16 to 22; most of them being students of various schools and colleges across the twin cities. We organised a campaign against Child Labour on the occasion of Christmas "SANTA against Child Labour" at the KBR Park Entrance at 7 a.m. on 25`11 December, 2012. The campaign consisted of beautiful handmade posters depicting the cause. The members pledged to not employ any children for any work and also asked all the visitors to do the same. The park's entrance was a lovely scene with 10 Santas telling everyone to discourage child labour. These Santas also distributed cupcakes bearing the message "There is no reason or excuse, child labour is child abuse".
Date: 25th December 2012
Venue: KBR park entrance gate
Chairperson: Jr. Jc. Sheetall Nahata
Secretary: Jr. Jc. Neha Gina
Treasurer: Jr. Jc. Vishesh Bapna
Project Co-ordinator: Jr. Jc. Kishan Patel
