Blenders Pride Hyderabad International Fashion Week 2012 (Day 4)

Current Heartthrob Rana Daggubati, Actress Yami Gautam, Miss India Simran Kaur Mundi and actress Sagarika Ghatge grace the ramp at the day 4 of the fashion week.

Dec 25th, 2012 Hyderabad - Biggest names of the Telugu and Hindi film industry come together at the final day of Blenders Pride Hyderabad International Fashion Week'12.

Blenders Pride Hyderabad International Fashion Week'12 will witness Indian and International designers coming together to set new trends in fashion and business in the fashion hub of Hyderabad. BP HIFW endeavors to promote, support and nurture an enigmatic list of budding designers along with collections of established designers who have shown on Indian as well as international runways and have made a mark or created a spark in the industry.
The designers for the day were Mohit Folod from Jaipur, Payal Singhal and James Ferreira from Mumbai, and Fashion House Mebaz from Hyderabad.

Mr. Raja Banerji, GM-Marketing, Pernod Ricard India, the presenting sponsors of the fashion week said, "Blenders Pride has been at the vanguard of fashion with an association built over the years. The brands participation only helps build this association further and in an important market as well. We believe that this works weli for both the brand and the Hyderabad Fashion Week."

Poonam Vohra is an established Fashion Designer of Madhya Pradesh, based in indore. Her collection was named "Law of attraction" into which every garment has an element of black or white. It is a rich collection of indian heritage emb made in indo italian cuts. Beautiful Yami Gautam was the show stopper.

Designer Swapnil Shinde had Miss India Simran Kaur Mundi as the show stopper. The collection which was presented at the Blenders Pride Hyderabad International Fashion Week was a culmination of my most crucial and iconic pieces from his gen next debut till date.

From the inception of the brand in 2006 till the recently held Lakme fashion week, 14 seasons have passed since the brand took birth and these 14 seasons had more than 1 iconic look presented. And the showstopper and iconic pieces from each of these seasons would be presented in its original glory.

Couturier Archana Kochhar has been showcasing her creation on Indian as well as International runways for more than a decade. Her Collection Bridal Sutrais inspired by the richness of the Mughal era and it is homage to the beautiful city of Hyderabad. It is an amalgam of the rich Mughal culture with the vibrant and vivid colors of today. The collection flows in the range of heavy exquisite lehengas, Sherwanis, Anarkalis and Saris lavishly fabricated. The fabrics used are rich and restricted to silk, brocade, satin, velvet, georgette, net and chiffon. The color palette range from candy pink and orange, peach, rust, ivory, traditional red and maroon, black, rich gold and shimmery silver which are as majestic as the ensembles. The embellishments used to highlight are traditional and delicate from zardozi to beaded gold work, applique to crystal sprinklers and from heavy jadau to antique gold and silver thread work. The lush embroidery blends in strikingly and delightfully with the Mughal era. When it is traditional glamour that a bride and groom wants with a distinct mughal yet modern twist, then this collection has the perfect key to suit this seasons bridal festivities.

Bollywood’s desirable actor Rana Daggubati and the stunning Sagarika Ghatge were the showstoppers for Archana.
