THE REPUBLIC RIDE - 2013 : 5000+ CYCLISTS AT INDIA'S BIGGEST CORPORATE CYCLING EVENT
Hyderabad, January 26: The Atlanta Foundation is a registered trust to support the education of underprivileged students. To raise funds for this, the foundation along with prominent industry forums namely NASSCOM, ITsAP, TiE, FICCI and (SAAP) brings India's biggest corporate cycling event, The Republic Ride — 2013 at the Gachibowli Stadium on January 26 on the occasion of the Republic Day. Important partners include L&T Metro (Hyderabad) Rail, Broadridge, ADP, Airtel, Mahindra Satyam, PeopleCart, Amway Nutrilite, BIMTECH, Leonia Resorts, SriCity, HBC, Real Shopee, meraevents.com, RadioCity, and many more.
Mr. Ch. D. Tirumala Rao, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad and Deepika, 5th Grade Government School Student & Learnasium Open English Vocab Contest 2012-2013 Champion','ill be hoisting the flag.
Mr. V.B. Gadgil, Chief Executive & Managing Director - L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd. and International cyclist and Brand Ambassador of Nutrilite, Samim Rizvi will be flagging off The Republic Ride 2013.

The ride is in its 4th year. Participants include ADP, GE, Deloitte, Broadridge, Invesco, DuPont, CA, Infosys, TCS, Wells Fargo, Franklin Templeton, and many more. As Mr. Rajendra Tunuguntla, Chair — Hyderabad Location Council, Mahindra Satyam says, "Mahindra Satyam as like its parent Mahindra Group, is always committed towards the initiatives which help people of India to Rise. We are proud to be associated with Republic Ride and The Atlanta Foundation, supporting the cause of education and a greener tomorrow. We believe that through this partnership, we help the craftsmen of tomorrow's society drive positive change through innovation and alternative thinking." The ride will have distance options of 100Kms, 75Kms, 50Kms, 25Kms. This starts at the stadium, goes outside and ends at the stadium.
The shorter distances of 2KMs, 5KMs and 10KMs will be within the stadium complex. 100 Kms riders will receive a medal and certificate while the rest of the riders will get a certificate.
