Hyderabad Director / CEO Forum HDCF Confluence-XI (Celebrating Women Entrepreneurship)

An interesting evening that filled everyone’s minds with feelings and thoughts about various available opportunities for entrepreneurs, a n evening based on the theme of women entrepreneurship and for the women entrepreneurs, is how one could describe Confluence Xi, the monthly meet of the Hyderabad Director / CEO Forum (HDCF) on 9th February 11th 2013!

Hyderabad Director/CEO Forum (HDCF) is a Hyderabad based business network and leadership development organization with more than 1300+ of CEOs as its members with an aim was to connect some of the top echelons in business for knowledge and skill sharing and create a nurturing environment where they can hone their business skills further.

The occasion, brimming with over 150+ women as well as men entrepreneurs was graced by Dr. Killi Krupa Rani, Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology. She not only congratulated the forum on the theme for the evening ‘Women Entrepreneurship’ but also spoke on the various opportunities as well as the help and guidance available to women entrepreneurs from the Govt. Accompanied by Dr. Ram Mohan Rao, Pradesh Congress Committee Doctor Cell Convener, she also encouraged the forum to continue its activities and initiatives on promoting and guiding and mentoring budding and established entrepreneurs.

The entrepreneurs also had the privilege of listening to Ms. Suchitra Ella, Co –Founder of Bharat Biotech International Limited about her journey into entrepreneurship, and the challenges faced. Ms. Ella spent a lot of time interacting with the members present through a series of questions and congratulated the forum on the theme of women entrepreneurship and highlighted the need for creating a support system for women entrepreneurs.

Representatives from Axis bank as well Mr. Prasad, DGM at Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) spoke to the entrepreneurs about the various financing, debt and equity schemes available for all entrepreneurs and women in particular. The formal event was followed by networking and dinner.
