JAY ROBOTIX enables Practical Learning in Education

Aims to revolutionize the education system with practical learning through the concepts of Robotics and ROBOK1D 2013

Hyderabad, June 5, 2013: JAY ROBOTIX Pvt. Ltd. (http://www.iavrobotix.com), pioneer in multidimensional robotics, has introduced many initiatives to address the need gap for practical learning in schools and colleges. Since its inception in 2010, JAY ROBOTIX has been striving to train the students to apply theoretical concepts in real-life situations through robotics both at School and College level. One such initiative from JAY ROBOTIX is the ROBOKID Competition - an annual property of the company; the finale of ROBOKID 2013 was conducted today in the city.

A State level competition, ROBOKID has been conceived to create awareness about the importance of practical implementation of knowledge in their day-to-day life. The format of the competition is devised in three levels which urge the participants to apply the concepts learnt in their school curriculum practically while building robots and preparing for the competition.

Offering certified training modules to schools and institutes and setting up Robotics labs in the schools and colleges, JAY ROBOTIX envisions the concept of robotics as a catalyst to bring in practical aspects of science, mathematics and technology. One of their focus areas is to make engineering students industry ready by equipping them to apply new ideas and concepts with robotics education.

Mr, Sudhir Reddy M.S, (Ph.D) Robotics, founder and director JAY ROBOTIX PVT. LTD. said, "At JAY ROBOTIX, our aim is to make students more and more adaptive to practical implementation of the concepts they have learnt in their curriculum. This in turn will make them industry ready when they finish their studies. Moreover ROBOKID is an attempt to bring in a fun element to learning wherein they learn while they play. Practical training helps enhance the logical analytics, teamwork and other life skills which contribute to all-round development of the students. Students have never found group studies to be so much fun as they do while working on these robots. Problem solving becomes an inherent part of the student psyche as they build their own robots, and build new applications for the robot."
