Anoo’s International Beauty School’ sends out 115 professionally trained technicians into the industry

Celebrates 7th Convocation. Takes total number of AIBS students in the industry to over 855

~ Convocation Ceremony showcases a band of talents with exhilarating performances.

Hyderabad, 11th July 2013: Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Hyderabad, the educational arm of Anoo’s Salon and Clinical Services, today held its 7th Convocation at Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Somajiguda at Hyderabad. Currently the school has close to 860 students from across the country and international students from countries like USA, Singapore, Dubai, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.

115 students, both men and women, had to balance between rigorous theory and practical classes to be able to qualify as a recipient of the certificates given out by AIBS, This year’s graduates form a varied band of professionals completing their courses in M.Sc Cosmetology, CIDESCO and other diploma courses offered by AIBS. Each of these Graduates has been placed with reputed brands in the Industry as well as being employed at Anoo’s.

Present on the occasion Ms. Anuradha CH, Director of Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women commented “Each year as our students receive their respective diplomas, it is a personal moment of pride especially for me as I rejoice in the hard work they have each put in to find their calling in this industry. By sending out this band of finely qualified young men and women, we know that AIBS goals of helping the beauty industry bridge the gap for need of professionally trained technicians is being met. As they embark on this journey that gives them the platform to use their talents, we at AIBS congratulate them and wish them the very best”

Appreciating the efforts and dedication during the course of their study, AIBS also identified and acknowledged the following meritorious students:

-> Best Attendance Award - Ms. Zainab Begum
-> Best Performance Award - Ms. Pampana Sowjanya

Under M Sc Cosmetology, 2 awards are given for Performance and Dedication:

1. Ms. Shalini Gopala Krishnan
2. Ms. G. Manasa

A host of classical dance performances that included Bihu Folk dance by Students from Mizoram left the audience entertained and light hearted. A touchy performance of the evening came in the form of ‘Save a Girl Child, a Drama-Documentary. A fusion ramp walk called ‘Fashionista’ - was conceived, implemented and showcased by the M.Sc 5th Batch students.

In their 8 years of existence, AIBS has till date sent out over 855 trained professionals who form an effective workforce of premium beauty product and services across India and beyond. The school also has 2 unique distinctions.

-> One of it being India’s first and only beauty school to offer a Post Graduate course, i.e, M.Sc in Cosmetology in collaboration with the renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

-> Second is that AIBS is the only beauty school in South India that offers CIDESCO International Exam to all aspirants. The CIDESCO Diploma is the world's most prestigious qualification in the field of Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy.
