E. S. L. Narasimhan inaugurates Indian Board of Endodontics (IBE), Hyderabad

INAUGURATION OF INDIAN BOARD OF ENDODONTICS (IBE) Under the aegis of Indian Enthidontic Society (Regd)

The Indian Endodontic Society (IES) is the national society representing more than 2000 specialists in the field of Endodontics and is celebrating its 25th year of service to the society. IES proudly announces the formation of the Indian Board of Endodontics (IBE), IBE will be the Apex body to conduct examinations for Endodontists who on successful completion be Board Certified as "Diplomate of Indian Board of Endodontics". The mission of the IBE is to certify individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary knowledge and skills in the field of Endodontics and allied sciences.

Speaking on the occasion Chairman, Indian Board of Endodontics, Dr Anil Kohli said I believe that learning should be a continuous process and should not end with just a Masters degree. The Indian Board of Endodontics is the culmination of our efforts to sustain endodontic excellence amongst Indian clinicians."

Dr. V. Gopi Krishna-General Secretary Indian Board of Endodontics said that "The objective of the board is to be a catalyst for improving the quality and standard of endodontic care in our country.

"His Excellency Shri. E.S.L Narasimhan Governor of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated Indian Board of Endodontics-(IBE) and Conferred honorary diplomats of IBE to 11 National & International Dignitaries.

IES already has 16 chapters in different parts of the country including Mumbai Delhi Bangalore Mangalore

AIMS OF THE SOCIETY

• To endorse the collective efforts of members in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. By publishing regular periodicals, journals and other media providing core knowledge of the subject, which will have wider and unlimited exposure of data nationally and internationally and will enhance sharing of knowledge? And updating one with most recent methods, materials and equipments.
• To organize scientific meetings, seminars at periodic intervals . on Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics with specialisation in the subject concerned in India and abroad.
• To create a web of awareness in public interest and enriching society by quicker and better amenities and conveying preventive measures.
• To come together and form a body that represents the professionals on various issues related to the study and practice of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in India.
• Use of the fastest and modest means of interaction such as online literature, informative websites which will aid in imparting knowledge rapidly throughout the globe.
