Day 3 of Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week mesmerized fashionistas with a mosaic of hues & textures

Hyderabad, December 21st, 2013: Day 3 of the Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week saw a host of spectacular designs and patterns ranging from ethnic couture to Indo Western. Designers Anitha Reddy, Mebaz, Soltee Creations by Sulakshana Monga and Abhishek Dutta fascinated the crowd as they presented their exquisite collections.

Hyderabad’s very own, Anitha Reddy set the tempo for the evening with her bold and beautiful collection which represented her unique signature style. Showstoppers Anisha chowdhary scorched the ramp as she walked for her show.

This was followed by Mebaz’s show, which showcased their collection Guzaarish, consisting of indo western gowns and embroidered suits, sarees and ghagras for women. In menswear the collection comprised a fusion of suits, jackets and sherwanis. Supermodel turned actress, Anil Singh & Monica Singh added to the glam evening as she walked as a showstopper for Mebaz.

The third show presented by Soltee Creations showcased designs called Tryst with Destiny created by designer Sulakshana Monga. The collection represented the romance of two souls nurtured by destiny in an era of love, happiness and wellness. The collection brought a hyper diverse palette of quirky deep red, caramel, navy blue, teals with rust and gold, translating luxury into intricacy and fluidity in every garment. Urvasi Rautela stole the show with her grace as she walked the ramp for Soltee.

Bringing the day to a close was Kolkata based designer, Abhishek Dutta’s collection “Alchemy”, which maintained the designer's distinctive style of fusing the ancient embroidery with futuristic cuts. With structured clothing and the combination of leather and 3D implementation wowed the fashionistas present. The collection used fabrics like hand woven chanderis, cotton twills, georgettes and linen in soft notes of sea greens to bright blues, warm oranges, fresh yellows and clear whites. Extraordinary details like the lasercut, applique, cutwork and kantha elevated the looks creating an ensemble that captured the audiences. The showstopper for Abhishek Dutta’s collection, Ritu Verma and Sri Vishnu carried the design with elegance and panache.

As fashion festivities continued in Hyderabad, ‘The Emperor of Good Times’ played host to ace designers Anitha Reddy, Mebaz Show, Soltee Creations and Abhishek Dutta and their friends at the post show celebrations. The party spirits soared as the guests engaged in delightful conversations in the company of Kingfisher ULTRA.
