HEMANT UTSAV 2014 - Abhyasa International School Annual Day

On the 12th of January, 2014, Abhyasa International Residential Public School, celebrates her 18th Annual Day with a grand spectacle of music, dance and drama on a unique platform of ‘No Child Left Behind'- where-in all the 520 students of the school would be performing at Shilpakala Vedika, Madhapur, Hyderabad from 4pm to 7pm. . The function will be graced by about 2000 parents, guests and Abhyasa Alumini from different parts of India and overseas. Sri B.Prasada Rao I.P.S, Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh will be the Chief Guest of the programme, Dr.Ch.Mohan Rao - Director - Centre for Celluarand Molecular Biology, Mr.Sandeep Kishan, Tollywood Film Star will preside over the programme. Heads of leading ICSE schools will also be participating in the event.

The Highlights of the cultural programme : A meaningful Telugu skit “Durasa”, the thought provoking Hindi skit “Rakshak Bane Bhakshak” and the challenging English play “Narrow Domestic Walls” all written and directed by the Film Director and Founder Principal of Abhyasa, Mr. Vinayak Kalletla. The programme also features vibrant and colorful “Butterfly Dance” by the children of the Free School run by Abhyasa for the economically challenged students of Toopran and a spectacular grand finale dance - “ Waiting in the Wings”.

Abhyasa always aims at the overall personality of the students. Hence student managers are invested to mange various departments on the campus. At this juncture, The Investiture Ceremony is held on this Annual Day of celebrations wherein the School Captain, Head boy, Head girl, Captains and Managers will be invested with their office. Students are motivated to participate in Management committees of the school viz. Academic Management, Discipline Management, Sports & games, Mess Management, Spirituality Management, Gram Seva Management & Campus Management etc. and make important decisions in the day to day management of the school.

Medals will also be presented for academic excellence to the toppers in the ICSE, ISC and IGCSE exams in the year 2013.
