Hr tried reconstructing the emotional/vocal content along with stored components, involving elaborations, distortions and omissions.
Many prominent personalities and well known celebrities from the film Industry were also seen mesmerized by the paintings. "These paintings depict life and I am hypnotized by the depth of the images. The colors used for contrast have spellbound me", said one of the guest of the event
About Mr. Rajasekhar Pendhrthi
Artist Rajasekhar Pendurthi hails from Alamurus a small village on the eastern banks of the river Godavari. He spent his childhood there until he finished his high school. As a child, he felt his attention drawn towards painting and the visit to Damerla Rama Rao Art Gallery in Rajamundry only fortified his passion.
Unsurprisingly, his family too didn't consider that an artist could have a career. However, they left the decision to him and Rajasekhar ended up in joining in the 5 year BFA course in painting at Andhra University. Quite naturally, he progressed and joined Hyderabad Central University for MFA. After 2 semesters of MFA, he joined the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, for studying his masters in Animation Film Design.
His art and creative streak took a turn and he ended up working in various fields of animation 2D, 3D and gaming, for 13 years. Throughout this tenure, he had a disquieting feeling as he was unable to dedicate a part of his time for painting. At this juncture, he met Dr. Naveen Indla in the form of a common friend. The acquaintance evolved into friendship bonded by their common interests in western philosophy, art and literature. Dr. Naveen encouraged and nurtured Rajasekhar's idea of entering the painting arena once again in a full-fledged way. Dr. Naveen walked the talk and became the investor for Memories & Reflections.
Studying at National institute of design gave Rajasekhar a different perspective as how to look at things. Before the Memories & Reflections began he actually visited these places to study.
