....As Ganesh Festival is around the corner Navsevak Organisation has distributed 800 clay Ganesha Idols and also conducted a Clay Ganesh Idol Making Workshop. They brought the soil and all the material required for the same. Young and old have participated in Clay Ganesha making workshop with great interest.
Also the volunteers of Navsevak and Bhagyanaar Vyshya Youth Association walked around the Raahgiri stretch holding placards and created awareness for the Eco Friendly Ganeshas. One placard bore message “Clay Ganeshas bring ‘gain’ by not causing ‘pain’ to environment”, “Celebrate Brown Ganesh Festival” said the other. They urged people to celebrate eco friendly ganesh festival.
Prashanth Bachu, the man behind Raahgiri also joined Navsevak group in spreading awareness for Clay Ganeshas.
Devnar Foundation for Blind brought Blind Children who had a gala time. They played many games like cricket, chess, danced and had lot of masti.
The Indian Photography Festival (IPF) – Hyderabad created an awareness about forthcoming Indian Photography Festival. It is an initiative of the Light Craft Foundation along with the Govt. of Telangana, is an international photography festival showcasing a wide range of photography across all genres from portraits and landscape through photojournalism to fine-art. The festival will have Featured Exhibitions, an International Photography Competition, Seminars, Artists Talks, Portfolio Reviews, Photography Workshops, Open Studios & Book Launches, they informed.
Next week a walk will be organized at Raahgiri. Subsequently on October 4, “Fitness Festival” will be organsied informed Ms Alekhya, who is looking after the initiative. Speaking further she added that FITZOP will bring in the top 30 Gyms in the city to spread awareness about fitness, she said.
Routine activities like Cycling, Zumpa, Fitness, Yoga, Painting Exhibition etc continued on Sunday.
