Toastmasters International hosts Confluence 2015, Hyderabad

Toastmasters International - A worldwide networked not for profit works to hone the public speaking skills of members - is hosting the three day Semi- Annual Toastmaster's Conference, CONFLUENCE 2015 of District 98 from November 27 to 29, 2015 at JNTU Auditorium, Kukatpally and will have 1000 delegates.
DTM Chandrashekar DP, Program Quality Director, Toastmasters International; TM Srinidhi Dasaka, Conference Convener; TM Sneha Modukuri, Conference Co-Convener and TM Aruna Thapa, Division Director, announced this at a press conference and released the souvenir of Confluence 2015, on Wednesday at Press Club, Samjiguda. Students from Devnar Institute for Blind, whom Toastmaster Int., members have been coaching, also interacted with media on the occasion.
Toastmasters International (TI) is a non-profit educational organization started in 1924 that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Its 14,650 member clubs, cater to more than 3,13,000 members in 126 cities, and offer a program of communication and leadership projects designed to help people learn the art of speaking, listening, and thinking. TI has a wide spread presence in India with a major concentration being in the corporate sector with clubs across TCS, Microsoft, Accenture, CSC, Infosys, Deloitte, Adobe etc.
Confluence is the first semi-annual congregation of Corporate Honchos, Public Speaking Champions, Toastmasters and citizens from all walks of life from India for District 98 toastmasters comprising of Goa, Maharashtra, AP, Telangana, MP, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat, being hosted in Hyderabad.
The theme of the event is ‘#mymoment' - celebration the journey of every toastmaster in District 98. Toast - is our mascot and it personifies every toastmaster, he dawns the theme color of Confluence and stands for public speaking and leadership. Over 1000 participants including CEOs, Entrepreneurs, HR and IT Professionals, Trainers, Coaches, Students and homemakers from pan India will learn, network, collaborate and share, communication and leadership skills and experience. The highlight of the three day conference is the World Champion of Public Speaking 2015, Mohd Al Qahtani sharing his secrets on how to be a world champion. There will be several guest speakers including Padamshri Ananda Shankar Jayanth and Dr. Sandeep Shastry, Political Scientist & Pro Vice Chancellor of Jain university.
