About my Landscapes
According to Indian mythology, trees or vrikshas were the offspring of Anala who was married to the great sage Kashyapa.. They have a great significant role in our cultural landscape for they not only yield fruits but provide shade as well and cover and protect the earth’s surface and have come to assume over the years even a sacred role.

My leitmotif - "The Tree" has remained constant as part of my oeuvre over the years in my career as a painter. At a cursory glance at my body of work, though it may appear that seems to be involved and articulating my ideas through my vision of a landscape, it is primarily the image of the tree which stands out - which he keeps returning to over the years. I has painted and drawn trees in myriad mediums and yet every time I returned to it with a new vision. In black and white, sombre greys or bright primary colours, the tree stands out resplendently, a sentinel to remind us of the havoc we seem to cause on the sacred face of the earth in our pursuit of selfish interests.

Also my landscapes reflect the memories and experiences I’ve collected from the places I have lived, touched, smelled, heard and walked through. My landscapes are painted from a place of love and gratitude for my experiences of the world.

I was born and brought up in rural raw sand and muddy terrains...
today i am living in urban cozy sky scrapers...
but those memories are still haunting me...
those god painted natural beauties and land scape..,
the innocence of people their affection..,their purity..,
their sentiments...,their care...,their habits..,
the festivals and celebrations of the village...,
those happy moments are still alive with me in my heart and vision
which I always cherish..,
women are always a reflection of natures creation..,
a backdrop of rural women their living habit and habitats
is an inspiration to me to portray the reality in it...
so my thoughts and works are mirror of those inspirations and
I just tried to put forth with my stroke on this canvas...
as the saying the thing of beauty
is joy forever...
I am trying to share my joy with you...
the soul of those muddy beauties filled memories
which I always cherish...
