3rd Regional Convention of WFRS for Central Asia at HICC

MORE THAN 100 INTERNATIONAL DELEGATES ARE PARTICIPATING AT THE CONVENTION.

FLOWER SHOW FEATURING VARIETY OF ROSES SHOWCASED AT THE CONVENTION

Mr Atimed Alam Khan, President of The Indian Rose Federation and Vice President of the World Federation of Rose Societies addressed to the media about the 3rd Regional Convention of World Federation of Rose Societies-Central Asia which is being hosted by The Indian Rose Federation and Hyderabad Rose Society in Hyderabad at The Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC) from 29th November to 2nd December 2014.

He added that Convention is being preceded by a pre tour of Southern India which was scheduled from 23rd November,2014, from Bangalore visiting rose gardens in Bangalore and Ooty and places if historic importance in Srirangapatnam and Mysore. The tour gets concluded here in Hyderabad on 28th November.

The All India Flower show and convention is being inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Post the convention a post tour is scheduled from 3rd December 2014 from Hyderabad t( Delhi which include Agra Delhi and Jaipur.

Speaking on the Occasion Mr.Ahmed Alam Khan said It is a great pride for us to get sud Convention to our Country and the State of Telangana .

We have worked hard to make this event a memorable one said Mr. Khan.

It was due to his persuasion in the meetings of the WFRS he could manage to get this event to India .

These conventions otherwise are normally held by rotation only in the European countries he added. The Hon'ble Chief Minister was very happy on hearing about the event and expressed that the Govt, of Telangana will extend it support to the organisation in making this a grand success.

Many members from various parts of the world have expressed their desire to visit our country. We have about more than hundred International delegates in total we have about more than six hundred delegates.

Our convention lectures include International speakers from China, Japan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka Singapore, Italy, U.K. Australia, Switzerland, United States and India.

There are local turn being organised to rose gardens and other places of interest in the historic city of Hyderabad during the convention period.

The theme of the convention is “NEW LIGHT ON THE OLD WORLD OF ROSES"
Apart from the local participants, Rosarians from different parts of the country like Jamshedpur Kolkata, Jabbalpur, Ranchi, Pune, etc. had brought Rose cut flower to participate in the flower show.

The Show is open for public on 30th November,2014.

It will be a feast to the eyes of the spectators of the show with thousands of flowers with vibrant colors displayed on the show tables.

This will be the best opportunity for the Rose Hybridizers, growers, hobbyists, Exporters traders and farmers of floriculture etc. to gain knowledge from the deliberations from expert* from all over the world.

They are many people in the regions of Maharashtra and Karnataka growing Roses and exporting to the western world. I am sure the people in the trade from our State and country will be benifitted said Mr.Khan.

Mr. Khan is a nature lover and has a great passion for plants. He has a rose garden with ten thousand rose bushes at his farm in the outskirts of the city.

He has developed a new rose garden for the event adding another fifteen thousand roses of all varieties. The concluding day the delegates will be visiting his farm to have a glimpse of the city's large rose garder maintained by an individual.
