FLO Interactive Session "Happiness the Way of Life" with Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswatiji
Hyderabad, April 19, 2016....Every April, at FICCI Ladies Organization(FLO), Hyderabad the old team lays office and new team takes over. So is the practice in vogues for the past 14 years, the last session for the year 2015-2016 of the FLO was held today here in city.
American born Sadhvi turned, doctorate from Stanford University, Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswatiji from Parmarth Ashram who has been living in Himalayas in India for 20years teaching spirituality and Indian Culture, addressed to the packed hall of FLO members an interactive session "Happiness the way of life"
Though raised in a traditional American family, a short visit to India and a deep spiritual experience transformed her life at Parmarth Niketan, which is considered as true spiritual heaven in India, where she has been living for over two decades.
She heads Divine Shakti Foundation, a charitable organization that provides free education, training and empowerment to impoverished women and girls. She has been giving discourses and question-answer sessions, teaches meditation, and oversees a vast array of humanitarian programs being run at the ashram.
She also speaks to audiences across the world on spirituality and Indian culture. Sadhviji teaches meditation to seekers from every corner of the globe who travel to the Himalayas to learn the divine practice.
She travels across the world giving spiritual discourses, question-answer sessions and meditation. Her talks blend the knowledge and logic of the West with the insights, spirituality and wisdom of the East. She is the Managing Editor for the monumental project of the Encyclopedia of Hinduism.

Earlier welcoming the gathering Rekha Lahoti, Chairperson of FLO, Hyderabad described her tenure as exhilarating experience.
She described FICCI FLO as a great platform to share and learn from each other.
She welcomed next Chapter Chair Padma Rajgopal and wished that she takes up the responsibility with new vigour and zest.

I am very proud to share that Ms. Pinky Reddy has taken over as National Vice President recently. It's a matter of great honour and pride for Hyderabad chapter. This was announced during the 32nd AGM held in New Delhi recently, Rekha informed to the gathering of over 350 members present on the occasion.
This is the first time where a national office bearer has been chosen from Hyderabad in the last 14 years. And who better than the most deserving, ever smiling and popular Ms. Pinky Reddy. She will be the National President of FLO in 2018-19, Rekha added.
My journey as a chairperson has been very fulfilling but it's not what you take with you in the journey that matters, the most important part is what you leave behind, if I have left behind members feeling wanted and happy my job is done. We have tried to synergize and it has worked, Rekha said.
I am very happy to announce that the Women in transport, a skill development initiative launched by FLO to provide free training to women drives is a huge success, Rekha informed.
Today we have 11 women drivers who were placed in a job she said and and presented them before audience to mark it as a success of the program. And she thanked Maruti, the training partner; Drive Bud, Lakshmi Manchu, Schools run by her and family and Mahavir Motors, the placement partners.
