Jhummandi Nadam - Heavenly Music

Films under K Raghavendra Rao-MM Keeravani combination have always earned a good place for its high standard of quality. ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ starring Manchu Manoj Kumar and Tapsee as lead pair is the latest film in this combination. This film is being produced by Lakshmi Manchu under Lakshmi Prasanna Films banner. Being made on music backdrop, it’s expected to have a flow of continuous songs that showers the fragrance of love and gives a very soothing relief.
Sarigamapadanee Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Vedavyasa Singer: S.P. Balasubrahmanyam
Many people feel bored by classical music and think it is old, dull and conservative. But not so with this song ‘Sarigamapadanee’ that was sung by the living legend SP Balasubramaniam in two voices – young and old. Keeravani starts the album with an outstanding mix of classical orchestral song. SPB has a really really great voice, and amazing voice variation. This is a competitive song that features Mohan Babu and Manoj Kumar Manchu performing live on the stage. The enchanting music for your ears will rejuvenate you after a hard day’s work.
Laali Paaduthunnadi Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Suddala Ashok Teja Singer: S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Geetha Madhuri, Balaji, Deepu
Aah! This song gives a very soothing relief to both to the mind and the heart. A simple lyrical melody in a country style has a delicate orchestra. This picturesque orchestral song has a graceful melody in the rhythm. SPB’s vocals are supported by the voices of Geetha Madhuri, Balaji and Deepu. Keeravani gave a superb tune to Suddala Ashok Teja’s awesome lyrics. One of the most beautiful songs, I enjoyed it and would love to hear again and again.
Govinda Harigovinda Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Vedavyasa Singer: S.P. Balasubrahmanyam
Wah! ‘Govinda Harigovinda’ is a beautiful classic country song with wonderful lyrics. The tune is catchy, simple and sustains the same tempo till the end of the track. SPB’s glorious voice is really really nice and soothing to ears. Lyrics penned by Vedavyasa are interesting and makes you want to pay attention. If we are living in Andhra Pradesh, we cannot help to be exposed to such music. We should be thankful to Keeravani for taking us to the music world way back in 1960s.
Yem Sakkagunnavro Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Suddala Ashok Teja Singer: Anuj Gurwara, Chaitra
This is a typical Keeravani song. His trademark infectious tune is bound to get stuck in your head easily. Though have the shades of his earlier film music, ‘Yem Sakkagunnavro’ definitely stands out. This love duet sung by Anuj Gurwara and Chaitra stands apart, with sweet, unique and cool desi instrumentation. I loved the lyrics, especially because of its folk style. On the whole this track with catchy tune is enjoyable.
Sannayi Mogindi Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Suddala Ashok Teja Singer: S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Sunitha, Malavika, Chorus
Aah! What a beautiful song with the fragrance of Telugu nativity? Here is yet another wedding song in Telugu traditional style. Thanks to Keeravani for giving us such beautiful tune and not to mention about the lyrics written by Suddala Ashok Teja. What a combination? We have recently heard of a wedding song in the film ‘Varudu’. That song was also composed by Keeravani and the lyrics were excellently penned by Late Sri Veturi Sundararamamurthy. Likewise, when we listen to this song too, we would not miss Veturi garu, as lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja is as sweet as in ‘Varudu’. Added to that is the sweet vocals by SPB, Sunitha and Malavika.
Deshamante Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Chandrabose Singer: S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Chaitra, Mounika
This is a patriotic song that tells the country means not just a piece of land but people regard the whole country as their homeland. Chandra Bose lyrics are thought-provoking and aggressive. The song indicates full of hope for the country’s future. The vocals ‘Deshamante’ rendered by SPB supported by Keeravani’s outstanding composition gives us a patriotic feeling. This is an excellent piece that delivers a lyrical message, hence every Indian must listen.
Nigraham Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Chandrabose Singer: Ranjith, Chaitra
‘Nigraham’ is a soft rap piece with a warm and inviting synth riff. The song starts with very light drumming. It’s that good, well executed and has a strong rhythmic sense. It’s delicately sung by Ranjith and Chaitra with lush harmonies echoing in the background propped up by the effective lyrics. But the song may not strike everyone attention as positively as all other songs in the first listen.
Balamani Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Chandrabose Singer: Karthik, Shivani
A festive, fun song creates a cheery atmosphere and lifts the spirits. It just changes your mood and makes you want to jump around. The up beat music just gets your feet tapping to the rhythm. Chandra Bose provided aptly suitable lyrics that fit to the theme and the Keeravani’s composition gels well. Karthik and Shivani’s vocals are delightful.
Entha Entha Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Chandrabose Singer: Krishna Chaitanya, Sunitha
Aah! Finally Keeravani ends the album with a song that starts with my favourite guitar riffs. This song ‘Entha Entha’ led by amazing rhythm, Krishna Chaitanya and Sunitha croons so softly. The melody is just smooth, romantic and absorbing. Who can’t love this song? Lyrics are beautiful, sweet and romantic as well. This is one of the finest romantic songs that should be in everyone’s lists when it comes to romantic songs.
This album is certainly ‘The Best’ album that I have heard this year. The music will certainly appeal to the broader audience. As long as we have musicians like Keeravani producing albums to such high standards, the musical world is going to be heaven.
