'90ml', starring Karthikeya of 'RX100' fame and Neha Solanki in the leads, has hit the screens today. Read on to know how the film is.
Story
Devadas (Karthikeya) is born with a rare condition called fetal alcohol syndrome that requires him to take 90ml alcohol three times a day or else he would die. He falls in love with Suvasana (Neha Solanki), whose family is against alcohol consumption. Suvasana's father (Rao Ramesh) is a traffic cop, who hates alcoholics. When the hero is trying to do his best to hide his disorder and win his love, an industrialist named John Wick (Ravikishan) enters his life and makes problems worse. Devadas finds himself in a situation where he needs to give up alcohol to win his love. But will that happen? What about his condition? That's what the rest of the story all about.
Performances
Karthikeya has given a decent performance. But he is extremely good in dances. Neha Solanki is fairly good. Ravi Kishan plays a funny villain. But he is reduced to a caricature. Rao Ramesh, Pragathi and others do justice to their roles. Roll Rida is okay.
Technical aspects
Anup Rubens' music is decent. The production values and cinematography are good. The dialogues click here and there. The screenplay is formulaic.

Minus Points

Analysis
If you watch the trailer, you can guess how the film is going to be. Except for the condition of the hero, which was not discussed in Telugu movies earlier, the film is very formulaic and is mostly predictable. Some comedy scenes featuring Ravikishan, 'Kalakeya' Prabhakar, Raghu Karumanchi and others work. On the whole, '90ml' ends up as a routine love story, the hero's condition being an exception.
