Dr Rajasekhar’s ongoing flick ‘Arjuna’ is currently progressing at Sivarla in Hyderabad city. Kanmani is directing this flick casting Mariam Zakaria opposite Rajasekhar. K Chandra Sekhar and A Uday Shankar are the joint producers. ‘Arjuna’ is based on political backdrop in which Rajasekhar is playing the dual role – father who wants to serve the people and the son who sincerely follows his father’s principles.
In a press meet held on Wednesday Rajasekhar said, “I’m playing the role of a farmer Suryanarayna who works hard for the welfare of the people around him and the role of a son Arjuna who supports his father. The emotional bonding between father and son will be heart-touching in this film.”
Director Kanmani said, “Despite the story being on political backdrop, we are including some light comedy. We are planning to release the film in January.”
Other star cast is Kota Srinivas Rao, Ahuti Prasad, Murali Sharma, Supreeth, Chalapathi Rao, Kadambari Kiran, Shivaji Raja, Rekha, etc.
