Rana and Genelia starrer ‘Naa Ishtam’ has completed the shooting part and is getting ready for release on March 23rd. The film is directed by Prakash Tholeti and produced by Parachuri Kireeti under United Movies banner. A press meet was held today to brief the film’s details.

In the press meet Rana said, “It took nearly a year to complete this film even though we were shooting everyday. Prakash Tholeti narrated the story of ‘Naa Ishtam’ during the time of the making of ‘Leader’ and he developed it fantastically in 2 ½ years of time. He narrated exactly the way my teacher used to teach the lesson at school. In my previous films I did roles that are above my age whereas in this film I’m doing the role that aptly suits my age. We have completed the entire shooting part except for a song. It’s a different love story. My role in this film is very unique that no one would have come across anywhere in the world. Genelia is a good co-star and a professional heroine. I’m very happy to work with my director and producer.”

Director Prakash Tholeti thanked the producer Parachuri Kireeti and Rana for the wonderful opportunity that they have given him. Further speaking he said, “We have completed the entire shooting part except the hero introduction song. We are going to start our promotion on February 10th and tour places like Vijayawada, Tirupathi, Chittoor, Vizag, etc. We will also release few teasers and then the audio will be launched in this month end and the film on March 23rd. ‘Naa Ishtam’ is about the hero’s struggle throughout his life for the love that blossomed in a minute. Chakri garu gave fantastic music as per my taste even though he took some time. The audio of ‘Naa Ishtam’ will be one among The Best audios in this year.”

Chakri said, “I’ve been composing tunes for ‘Naa Ishtam’ for quite a long time. The output is great. The songs would definitely connect with the youth and I’m confident that these songs will become popular among the Telugu audience all over.”

Parachuri Kireeti said, “I was really surprised to see Rana and the director working hard day and night right from the beginning of the film’s launch. But they truly enjoyed their work and that’s the reason the film’s output is also great.”
