Sridevi to pair with Amitabh-Abhishek in Khuda Gawah remake

We are all aware that Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi and Nagarjuna starrer, the 1992 ‘Khuda Gawah’ was a massive blockbuster which won 4 filmfare awards like best supporting actor, best director, best sound and best action. Now producer Manoj Desai is eager to remake this film once again with Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi as lead pair and he is also keen on roping in Abhishek Bachchan for the role inspector Raja Mirza which was played by Nagarjuna originally. In the original version while Amitabh Bahchan played Badshah Khan, Sridevi did dual role as mother Benazir/daughter Mehndi. As per the latest reports, in this remake version too, Amitabh and Sridevi might play their roles while Abhishek will be seen as Badshah Khan’s son-in-law.

Sridevi started off her 2 nd innings with an Indian drama ‘English Vinglish’ that is expected in theaters on 21st September in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. Incidentally, in this film Big B did a cameo role while in the Telugu version one of the leading heroes performed. If all goes well, the remake of ‘Khuda Gawah’ would be Sridevi’s next film.
