Siddharth and Andrea Jeremiah’s trilingual horror film ‘Gruham’ directed by Milind Rau, is all set to hit silver screens on November 17. On this occasion, the makers have screened premier on Wednesday i.e. on November 15 in Hyderabad and later arranged a press meet. The film has been titled as ‘Avai’ in Tamil and ‘The House Next Door’ in Hindi. The film will have Siddharth playing a neurologist. The film also features Atul Kulkarni in a crucial role.

Speaking at the press meet, hero Siddharth said, “I thought to release ‘Gruham’ in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously but it was not possible. We have decided to release the Telugu version on November 17 due to some unexpected reasons. Each and everyone in the team have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. Milind garu and I travelled together for four and half years for this film. Music director Girish too travelling with me since three years. When we got the idea to make a horror film, we researched a lot on the subject. We discovered so many things. Do god or ghost really exists? It’s purely personal. We made the film based on 60% real incidents from our research. Technically we have taken utmost care. We have taken due care in terms of colour tone also. As the film is a horror, I has received ‘A’ certificate and therefore I can’t say it can be watched by the whole family together. Horror comedy genre is trending off late. I felt that it is the correct time to bring a full-fledged horror film. I wanted to come out of the bracket and that’s why I turned into producer for ‘Gruham’.”

Addressing the gathering, director Milind Rao said, “The interesting thing in ‘Gruham’ is was made based on the real incidents. There are so many dangerous people in our society. We have researched on several things to present it as a film.”
