Nara Rohit and Nithya Menon starrer ‘Okkadine’ is a love cum family entertainer directed by Srinivas Raaga. C V Reddy is producing this feel good entertainer under Gulabi Movies banner with musical scores by Karthik and cinematography by Andrew. The film has completed its shooting part and is getting ready for release on December 7th. A press meet was organised on Wednesday to announce the release date.

Director Srinivas Raaga said, “Okkadine revolves around family relations and emotions. The movie will give a fresh appeal to the audience with healthy comedy and intensity. A remix song ‘Puttintollu Tharimesaru’ was inserted in the film as per the situation demand. It is one of the highlights of the film. All scenes in the second half will attract the audience. I’m 100% confident that ‘Okkadine’ will be a good movie. I was able to craft the movie grandly only with the support given by the producer. Casting senior artists has become a plus point for me.”

Producer C V Reddy said, “We have completed the shooting as well as the post production work within the scheduled time. We will be sending the film to the censor board shortly. I’m very happy with the output after watching the first copy of it. This is a feel good family entertainer much against the youth and action oriented films that have been coming of late. Karthik provided excellent music, even though he is new to the industry. The audio got very good response. Rohit and Nithya gave excellent performances. ‘Okkadine’ is sure to be a hattrick hit for both of them. Nithya played a different role in this movie when compared to her earlier films. Similarly this movie will earn a good name to Rohit also. I’m confident that this movie will give me a good commercial success. Director followed my advices and crafted the movie extremely well. We are releasing the film on December 7th and I hope the audience will watch and appreciate it. I will announce my new project depending on the success rate of this film.”
