So much of innocence and childlike nature brims within actress Meenakshi, who is making her debut in Tamil cinema through ‘Madura Veeran’. She keeps herself inclined to few words and speaking about her experience working on Madura Veeran, she gets invigorated.

The actress says that she had no prior familiarity with acting and she thanks P.G. Muthaiah for being so much supportive. Adding more, she says, “He is a man of high spirits and keeps smiling all the time. He would be the first one on the shooting spot and he would never fade at any circumstance. He is fresh and sangfroid, which in turn spreads positive vibrations upon us while shooting. At times, I would wonder, if he is in the mindset of a director or cinematographer. I would say, he is a multi-faceted personality and it was really a great experience working in his film.”

Getting on to share her words on experience working with co-star Shanmuga Pandian, Meenakshi says, “Shanmuga Pandian is so simple and down to earth that he never showed his attitude anywhere of hailing from a big film family background. He is so genuine and had been so much helpful to me in rendering my dialogues. The greatest of all my unforgettable experience would be Vijayakanth sir and Premalatha madam coming to shooting spot and interacting with me nearly for a hour. What a bliss it was? It would be an ever-cherishing moment forever.”

Hailing from the lands of Aalapuzha, Meenakshi adds that her moment were beautified on the village lands of Tamil Nadu, where they shot the film. “I was so much fascinated over the walks of village life and cultural ethnicity. I admired the way women wore saris there and they were too helpful in letting me adapt it for my role in Madura Veeran.”

Meenakshi also adds that she has become a fervent lover of delicious Pongal, which she could taste more while shooting for this film.
