'Zombie Reddy', which has been touted to be Tollywood's first zombie and corona-based movie, is in the news because the makers of the film on Sunday revealed the name of its male lead. He is Teja Sajja, the former child ariste and the grandson of 'Oh Baby!'.

Directed by Prasanth Varma of 'AWE!' and 'Kalki' fame (who has described the film as a high-concept thriller), the film marks Teja's "heroic debut". Note that he is also doing another movie, directed by Malik Ram and starring Shivani Rajsekhar as the heroine.

The first look poster, released on the occasion of the lead man's birthday, is in consonance with the film's genre. The hero is seen holding a mace even as a gang of zombies approach to launch an assault. The image of a Chiranjeevi still from 'Donga' lends it a touch of larger-than-life aura. "When a pandemic breaks out, people in Kurnool fight it and save the world," the director has said about the movie.

Music is by Mark K Robin, cinematography is by Anith, screenplay is by Scriptsville, while Sri Nagendra Tangala (production designer) and Nagarjuna Thallapalli (sound designer) are also working.
