SPB's demise is an irreparable loss for Aditya Music: Umesh Gupta

Aditya Music, the top music label in south India, has described the demise of SP Balasubrahmanyam as highly unfortunate. Umesh Gupta, the founder of Aditya Music, said that the news of Balu's passing away has drowned the staff and management of the label in grief.

"His yeoman contributions to the universe of music for more than five decades were unmatched. We had the fortune to release a countless number of his hits through Aditya Music. Besides shining in the world of popular music, Balu garu also treated his fans to devotional musicals," Umesh Gupta said.

He added, "Hanuman Chalisa, Sivoham and other devotionals of his were released on our label. They were received widely by the listeners. Balu garu's journey with Aditya Music went for three decades. Even though he is not with us physically, Balu garu's voice will be with us forever. We pray to God that his soul attains peace."
