Maha Movie Makers’ ‘Jai Bolo Samaikyandhra’ starring Chandhavolu Shobharani to be directed by Pudi Lakshman and produced by P Venkat Rao will be launched on October 2nd. On this occasion a press meet was organised in Hyderabad on Monday.

Director Pudi Lakshman said, “A prominent hero will be acting in this film. We will let you know the details soon. Several leaders of Samaikrandhra Movement will act in this film. Vahini, who played a key role in ‘Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu’ film will play yet another key role in this film. Kavitha will be seen as a lady Gaddar. I worked as a co-director for Babji in the past. This film will be based on the current movement. Our film will showcase the advantages of being united and disadvantages of getting separated. However we are not going to hurt anyone’s feelings. We are only going to portray today’s dirty politics on the screen.”

Producer P Venkat Rao said, “We are going to launch the film on October 2nd and make efforts to release the film on November 1st. The entire shooting will be completed on single schedule. Krishna, Munichandra, Giddayya Naidu, yamini and Chanakya are going to play key roles in the film.”

Shobarani said, “Keeping the present situation of the State in mind, we are going to make a film based on the point how a State would develop if it’s united and what would be the consequences if we get separated. We will take good care while shooting the film by not critizing anyone.”

Kavitha said, “Producers are making this film based on the movements happening in Seemandhra. I’m playing a different role in this film that gives a message to the people. ‘Jai Bolo Samaikyandhra’ will be an inspiration to the people.”

Speaking about 100 years of Indian Cinema Kavitha said, “My film journey started three decades ago as a child artist and gradually turned into a heroine and now as a character artist. I’m not living far from the film industry. I’m still active in the industry. I worked with all prominent people in all four languages. I worked as a heroine in more than 130 films and over 150 films as a character artist. Even today I’m continuing as an actress. Several people from other languages are calling me and asking why I’m not part of the 100 Years of Indian Cinema celebrations. But I’m feeling embarrassing to say that I was not invited. I still don’t understand why the organizing committee has not recognized me as an actress. I felt don’t I deserve the respect from the industry as a senior artist. It’s not just me, several senior artists have not received invitations. Those who have just entered the film industry made their presence felt at the function. I need not go and beg MAA Association regarding this. Several films of mine have celebrated Jubilee functions. Trend of groupism is currently going on in the industry. There is no respect for the artists. It’s just that one needs to be smart to praise and get their work done.”
